the first pic is of the internal ports in the box, bottom and sides just to dry fit all of it. the second is with the top all on. the subs each are going to have .8 cubic feet of air space excluding the port. next i need to complete the exterior i plan to fiberglass the top to get some better contours and a more organic look. then im gonna carpet to match my interior.

my enclosure if going to bolt down the the factory luggage bolts on the rear deck behind the back seat. already have hole's drilled inside the box and bought longer bolts and washers with the same thread so the box will bolt from the inside down below each sub.

well most subs need to be in a box to create the type of sound your looking for most free air subs don't have nearly the depth of bass response.

You can get an inexpensive sub that will hit good without a box for pretty cheap. Then just go make your own box for maybe $50. haha. Here is what my box I made looks like. It is not show quality, but looks good. I am going to change the amp setup though.

m/a is a good brand, but 2 15"s??? wow thats crazy especially in a hatch camaro! in my old car i had 2 12" legacy, then 2 10" power acoustic fubar, up to 2 mtx 8000 12". then up to a 15" audiobahn alum15q, 3 jl 10w6m, then 2 12" m/a audio 12's,then one jl12w6, and then finally a jl12w7 (the best out of all of them)... all over the course of about 5 yrs. with 2 15's you might be able to ge t the subs cheap but everything else is going to cost more as well (i.e biger power cabels install kit, better cap) and with that much sound your going to need to upgrade your mids/high's bueauce from experience trying to get stock ones to match/overpower the subs will just blow them (not to mention sounds distorted) for that i bought a small amp and got a set of alpine type R component in the doors and alpine typr r 6x9 for the back, mostly because fo real theres some days that i just didnt want to hear nothing but boom boom boom......
funniest thing today i drive all stock
