Default Strong gas smell in cab

Hi guys, I can smell gas in the cab of my 94 Z really strong. I have been under the hood and under the car and cant't find anything that appears to be loose or not connected. I'm not a mechanic, so I could have easily overlooked something I guess, but does anyone have suggestions as to what specifically I should check? Thanks for all help in advance.

Not sure if the LT1 cars came with EVAP emissions or not, but I know it can cause said problem. Is the Service Engine Soon light lit?

No, there aren't any lights on. The engine runs smooth as silk...just the smell.

if its not the evap. have u done a pressure check both while running and not. also let it set for a while with the pressure gage hooked up after checking while not running to see if the pressure bleeds off. if there is no bleed off of the pressure then the fuel lines from the pump to the injectors should be good. if thats the case and the pressure holds, it may be in the return line. follow the fuel lines from the tank to the motor as much as u can and look for any sign of leaks. it might be that its leaking so slow that its evaporating before it can show on the floor. look for anything out of place. dirt darker, clean place on the line. also look around the fill hose as much as u can. if u cant find anything u are going to have to take the fuel tank out and and have a look see.

Problem solved. There was a leak in the return line. Thanks for all of the help.
