Default stroker question

hey guys, i know that u cant put reg 350 heads on an lt1, but i found stroker kit for a chevy 350, would i have any problems putting the crank on an lt1 or is it a different block entirely?

lt1 is balanced internally but the rear is externally balanced to accomidate the one piece rear main seal. also i think the main jurnals are different size in the lt1.

make sure its for a one piece rear seal found this, says it better than i could, but if what your getting is the rotating assembly then u should be ok there. i still think the front seal on a lt is a bit different to but wouldnt swear to it.

The crankshaft in the LT1 is similar to a small block 350 crank, and has the same casting number: 14088526. But the LT1 crank is balanced differently to accommodate lighter pistons. Consequently, if you are rebuilding one of these engines with an exchange crankshaft, make sure the crankshaft is the correct one for an LT1, not a 350.

as long as the kit has a 1 piece rear seal, it will work just fine, you will just have to have it balanced
