stretching the camaro's legs (wheels) part 2
If I learned anything from high school chemistry, it is this, only change one variable of an experiment at a time. With that said, I took the camaro out for another run. The only thing I changed was the engine oil. I used Castrol high milage 10w30. The camaro 98 v6 3.8l 5 speed manual has 111k. I ran the car the same distance at the same speed as I did the first time. 70-80mph for aprox 10mi round trip. The service engine light did not come on this time. The engine oil was not fresh the first time but not ready for an oil change. I wonder if this was the difference? I know fresh oil does wonders for a high milage engine.
