stock rims want wider tires!!!!

Smile stock rims want wider tires!!!!

i have a 94 camaro i have the stock rims on it im looking to put wider tires on the rear but dont know what size i can get i have 235/55/r16 on there now if anyone has pictures of them on ur car id love to see them

Hello, I had 265/50/16 on the rear of my 94 Z28 for a while. They were nice and wide, didn't rub, but I couldn't spin them good enough so I sold them. From what I was told by the buyer, that size was getting very hard to find. You will have better luck with 17 or 18in wheels.

I would go with the size Carnage suggested. It's a pretty common size and the 10mm difference won't do you much good.

Yeah, of course. Just because the tire and rim size is different doesn't change the amount of torque going to the ground.

That said, it does change the amount of torque it takes to break the tires loose.

You would probably be able to break them loose, but it's going to be a little harder. Once you get them spinning you'll be fine though.
