I just bought a 2002 z28. and the audio controls don't work on the steering wheel. what r some common problems that make this happen.

 

is head unit still stock

 

what's the head unit? it still has the stock radio.

 

check your fuses yet? driver side, side of dash fuse box.

 

yea the fuse for the controls is good

 

there are two. top and bottom right. does the switch light up with the dash lights

 

yea the lights on the steering wheel work

 

have you downloaded the factory manual. should let you know which wire does the radio functions. gray or green,,,lol i dont know. then you can look for breaks in it. also check owners manual to see if there is a way to turn it on and off.

 

ok thanks man I'm going to mess around with it Tomorrow and see what I can find.

 

i dont have it on mine so haven't learned much about em. kinda rare in a 93.
