It depends on the condition of the wheels. If the wheels were in good condition, I'd jump on that deal.

What's wrong with the replica wheels? Are they heavier than the standards or a cheaper quality?

Is there really a difference? Poorly made? Also is there anyway I can tell by just looking at them?

ya theres a difference between the two if you saw them side by side you would see the difference, I'm not sure if they're of poor quality per say but they're obviously worth less then the real deal... the pic with the tire on it is the replica and the pic below that is the real ss wheel and it's obviously non polished they sold ss camaros with the option of the polished or non polished wheels

After seeing those pix, I am glad I got chrome, flaking or not.
Is the GM logo enuff to insure OEM, or can the clones have the mark of excellance also?
Fine steel wool and SimiChrome fixed mine, but if ya look close...

Not if the tires are shot (newish is a very poor discription for tires)and you have to pay shipping on them. Sometimes the seller leaves the tires on because the dismount fee cuts into his profits. Also check the wheel condition and if they are OEM.
