Default SS hood??

my `94 has an aftermarket SS hood on it, there's no screen just a hole there that lets water in right on top of the motor is there supposed to be something there to route the water somewhere?

hole goes back a couple inches then dumps water right on top of the engine

Post photos from underneath so we can see the routing.

I used to, but I still have a stock rear spoiler in that color, with black rally stripes. Feel free to break yours!

That helps a little, but we need to see in the hole under the hood to see how the air/water would route and if there are any channels, etc.

When people start cutting holes in scoops it is because they do not plan on driving it in the rain. I do not see how you could have a RAM style hood opened up and somhow seperate the air from the water.

Plug it up. If you want it to look nice make a removable plug, I had a friend that had a Leather cover for his snorkle that matched his leather seats.

The SS models had a functioning (open) hood scoop. How was water handled with that?
