If SLP doesn't have a breakdown, you could use a deductive ratio method to get a close estimate.
There were a total of 61,362 1996's built.
44,003 of those had an automatic trans = almost 72% of total.
2,257 SS's were built in 96 = 3.7% of total production.
3.7% (SS) of the total of auto transmission models = 1,628, leaving 629 with a manual trans. This of course would be a rough estimate, and the number of manual trans equipped SS models might be a little higher, and automatic lower, based on the original buyers being more performance oriented than not.
