Default Spoiler Brake light

I've done some basic research about replacing the brake light in the spoiler (2000 SS) but haven't really found what I'm looking for. I took the Lens off this weekend to have a look and it looks like the assembly is a PCB board with a ton of little bulbs soldered to it. From what I've found it is an LED type system. I'm not very handy with a soldering iron so I'd rather not replace the bulbs on the existing board. I was hoping for there to be a quick release or a connector style setup where I could just disconnect the PCB board, buy a new one and replace it but from what I could tell by looking into the spoiler I didn't see one. I like the stock look so I'm not really trying to "upgrade" it I would just like all of my bulbs to light up. I've read some horror stories about replacing this light then having the ABS dash light go off and the cruise control stop working so I'm hoping by doing a ton of research before hand I can avoid these problems. If anyone here has any previous experience with replacing this thing easily I'd be very grateful.

I found the whole assembly online at Hawks third gen parts for $50. I sent them an email but haven't heard back yet. Does the assembly come with a quick connect? I'd rather not splice or solder any wires if I don't have to. Does replacing the light require removing the spoiler completely?
