Speed Limitor..
Does a 94' 3.4 V6 have a speed limitor on it? I know my dads 05' Sierra will cutoff at 105 and my brothers 94' Develle will shut off at 115...does the camaro have the same thing? If it does...how do I pull it off? lol

Hmm, well u have a flashable pcm, so find someone with a laptop around u that can just eliminate or adjustthe limiterfor u

I'm not sure about the sixxers, but I know that the Z28's came speed governed at 108 mph if they were not ordered from the factory with Z rated tires. I'm not sure if Z rated was even an option for the sixxers, so I'm assuming that they're governed as well. If you want to take it off you'll have to get the PCM reprogrammed, either professionlly or you can utilize the Hypertech power programmer, but it's kinda pricey.

Anyone have a 94' Regular and wanna go have some fun (I would..but i'm 16 and I aint got anywhere to go to hit that kinda speed... I-75 is about it, and it's always packed with traffic..

Sounds like the limiter has been removed. The reason for the 108 limit was due to the fact that it is slightly under the speed rating for S rated tires(rated for 112mph), so if your car can hit 140 the PCM has already been reflashed.

ive hit 120 in my 98 v6, but what years of the z's ur talking about have the limiterset at 108?
