Spark Plugs

Spark Plugs
I have a 1993 Z-28 5.7l and I'm in need of changing my spark plugs. I took a gander at them the last time I was under my car and I noticed the driver side are easy to change, however on the passenger side they seem to be a bit problematic for anyone who doesn't have ridiculously small hands... What would you suggest to get to the passenger side plugs easier?

Go from underneath, and get a 5/8 spark plug socket that has the wrench nut on the end so you can use a 7/8 wrench to tighten or loosen the ones you can't get to with a ratchet. It's been a while since I did ones with stock manifolds, but that's how I remember doing them before.

I got up with my knees on that front frame crossmember thing and reached down from the top. I found that to be easiest on the passenger side while I got all of them from the bottom on the driver side. Only thing I did from below on the passenger side was routing the wires. Good luck and make sure you set aside 4-8 hours for the job. took me the full 8 lol

not familiar with your 93, but here is a tip that helped me on my 68.
I took a 7/32 1/4" drive socket and welded it in the end of a 3/8" drive plug socket, which will now allow me to use a 1/4" drive ratchet in tight areas
go to a surplus store and buy several styles/lengths of plug sockets, extensions and universals. cut file bend weld what ever you have to you can get it
I have one socket I use that is only 1" long and has been altered to use a 3/4" open end wrench on the end
also if your area is that tight, get a foot of 3/8" gas line to slip over the end of the plugs for easier installation and DONT FORGET THE ANTISEIZE ON THE NEW PLUGS
