Default Sold the 95 Z28

I sold my 1995 Z28 I got the car for 2100 dollars and put about 800 into repairs and sold it last night for 3500. So i gained money but still miss my baby but college calls .

Ill still hang around here because i learn alot reading these forums and have done many repairs on my car so i can help others.

I dont know what kind of car I am going to get now but it will never match up because i need a gas saver. Any one know of a fun gas saver i can get with about 5 grand?

Umm... 1998-2002 LS1 car... If you can keep your foot out of it, you'll get over 20 mpg easy =D

yeah i get decent gas mileage....im in overdrive at like 40 mph ha. but my car cost about twice what u want to pay ummm look for 2nd gen or up 3000gt 5spd get a base they are quicker then SL just not as fancy. or you can look for a 300zx n/a 5spd. they are comparable and prolly get slightly better gas mileage then a v6 camaro.

lol thanks for the tips. My brother has a Twin turbo 3000GT Vr4 so he would beat me to death if I came home with the 222 HP DOHC one. Anyways I have about $7,000 that I am now willing to spend on a new car. So the doors open up a little more.

Unfortunate that you had to get rid of the LT1, sorry bud.

Grab a 2002 or so WRX or a 1999-2001 2.5 RS. The RS isn't as fast, but it looks better, and both will do pretty well on gas. Plus they're AWD (not sure if you have to deal with snow), but it can come in handy.

Get a Chevette They don't come any cheaper.

And it is amusing to floor the gas and watch even the school buses passing you by in a blur of yellow~

lol Im looking into another V8 Car now . Main reason to sell the Lt1 was the price of keeping it up. I did all the work my self but damn if they could make it a little ezer I would have been happy! Anyways I hear that LS1 cars are alot more ez to work on so I am looking into one. Or an older 350 Camaro like a 88 - 92?
