Sofie's interior project

I originally wanted black faced gauges with pink markings, but they didn't offer them for my car for some reason, but they did make them. I was also considering white faced with pink markings.

Interior and Exterior
Well, I only did a couple things. It's been too cold out and money has been tight. I got a pink under glow kit for xmas which included an interior set up. I only did the interior for now. The wiring isn't on a permanent set up now because it's going to be mounted to the seats and the seats are coming out between now and March for reupholstering. I also got a black and silver nose badge.

I have to admit I was shocked when I read a girl did all this work. Very nice job. What kind of prep work did you do on the interior panels? I'm really wanting to black out the inside of my 99 Z. I can't stand the tan interior. Very nice job on the gauges, I've been reading on people changing out the leds gauges but haven't seen any pictures til now and I'm sold! I'm going to look into doing this mod.
Also if you dont mind my asking how old are you? You mentioned school was starting and you wouldn't have time to work on the car. Surely your not a highschool girl? If you are...wow definatly have my respect. Most of the teenage girls at my highschool dont even know how to check the air pressure in their tires let alone do work of this magnitude.

The interior panels took a while to do. I scrubbed them first (previous owner was a hardcore smoker, so everything was covered in tar), then I 'wet sanded' them, just enough to slightly rough up the surface but keep the plastic texture, then I had to use filler to try to fill in some of the scratches and grooves. The previous owner was really not a smart person and didn't take the best care of the poor car. I used paint, but I really wanted to just replace all the panels. I don't have a big budget, so I just work with what I can afford, it still looks just as nice, imo. I love my led gauges, but I'm not crazy over the overlays. I'm going to replace them at some point within the next few months.
