So, uh, this isn't common with the dash, is it?
I think I mentioned before that the dash on my car looks like it was eaten while it was in storage, right? If not, it does. The PO had a horrible looking dash pad on there, and I just took a quick peek under it to see the devastation below. Tonight, I took it off because again, it's a horrible looking dash pad, but I think it might be going back on. Here's my dash.
On top of that, the dash can physically be moved, like someone tried to unbolt it, then gave up and bought a dash pad. I want to replace the airbags so the airbag light will turn off, and also to take away at least a little bit of the ghetto car look. As for the rest of this, if I don't plan to keep this car for a long period of time, I question whether it would be worth it for me to take out the entire dash and then hope I put if back correctly. Not to mention, I worry about what else I might find the deeper I dig. $250 car, remember...

Looks pretty common for a car that sits in the sun alot. and the dash can be broken pretty good from an airbag deployment. You will need to replace the entire dash if the bags have deployed and yes it does come out, there are a few bolts on the top, 3 or 4 in the bottom middle and one on each bottom end behind the kick panels.
