So far from this forum I have learned that the best mod I can do to my V6 is trade it in for a Z28. haha. But I still have a question or two. Why do most people who mod their cars mostly just go for a CAI and a CAT? I've heard from some people that headers are a ***** to deal with and no one really talks about turbos or twin turbos for some reason. Can anyone speculate on that? Are they just too expensive to deal with?Do the cons out weigh the pros? Or do they have little effect on horse power?

well if your just looking for a forum that deal with nothing but the 3800 F-Body id go to http://forum.camarov6.com/index.php it's really a good website there A BUNCH of modded sixxers on there many with turbo setups and supercharger setups.

For some odd reason this forum is really not that friendly to the sixxer F-Body. (As far as modding them) [8D]

haha thanks. I wish I could take credit but they came with the car when I bought it. Yeah I really would like to fix it up real nice but it takes a lot of money and time which are two things I lack as a full time student haha.

there are websites out there for people really knowledgeable about camaros, forced induction, etc. I've been to ls1tech a few times and a lot of those guys r pretty hardcore with mods. I prefer this website though because it's more practical advice, not that there aren't people here who do have extensive knowledge about cars, but everyone seems more down to earth and realistic in terms of putting money into their car, without going nuts and putting $40 grand into it.

There is plenty you can do. Check here. https://camaroforums.com/m_55629/tm.htm I think some of the links are bad but, you can get the idea. This guy put alot of effort forth to bring this info up, I havent heard anything bad about them so give it a shot.
