well its not spine snapping but it will put you in your seat, mine could really whip your neck back if the passenger wasnt payin attention when i was down shifting[8D] mine did have some bolt ons though.....

A good driver can get a stockLT1 down the quarter mile in 14 seconds flat, maybe even 13.8 or 13.9 in perfect conditions. It's more than enough power for most people. I haven't had mine for long and haven't gotten to the track yet, but my mods are very simple (probably only adding 15 or 20 hp) and it feels very fast to me.

They are fast and can be made even faster. Not the fastes Z's on the road but they will scream. My LT1 never snapped my head back when I mashed the throttle though. I was spiining wheels for half of a football field!!!

i deffinatly feel a pull on me. i have noticed one time when i took my little asian friend for a ride to show him what american muscle was like he was talking like wow this is nice and all that and it sounds good and then i was like are you ready as we came to a str8 away at like a 35 roll and as soon as i stepped on it it like made him stop talking and when i looked at him his head and his whole body was like flat against the seat hahaha it was so funny... he never been in anyhting but i lil tupid civic si lol but then he was like nothing can beat yer car^_^ !!!! lol then he wanted to get a camaro and i told him to not get one cause i was afraid he would put a big wing on it lol and nos stickers all over, mis matched wheels lol
anyways yea it does to some people if u never been in a camaro but ull get used to it but i always do still feel a nice strong pull

As far as snapping your head back...it depends on what you are used to driving.

I drive a Mercedes Benz as a daily driver and when I first stomped on the gas rolling in 1st it did throw me back unexpectedly. After driving my 68' Camaro it feels more like jumping into a honda civic :-)

I love my 94 Z28; great daily driver, fun to drive, very comfortable and very quick compared to most others (Mustangs :-)
