Default Side terminals battery adapters

Here's a tip to save some bucks, at least for the European Camaro owner.

Car batteries with side terminals are a LOT more rare and expensive than the very typical top terminal type in Europe, but with side terminals battery adapters you can use the top terminal type without messing with the battery cables.

In my case a correct battery would cost me 250 USD, but now I got away with 70 + 15 for the adapters instead, money I partly spent on a new junction box as the old was ugly and broken.

They also make screw in standard posts for side post batteries to standard cables.

Interesting, didn't know that but makes sense

Have seen that the Optima batteries have both types of terminals, side and top

So do some others, I have one in my pickup.
Makes using jumper cables a lot easier to use.
