Ok so I'm doing my rear end swap as soon as my last few parts come in so I'm doing the shocks at the same time. I'm wondering if anyone know of any good mid grade shocks? I need both front and rear and not looking at getting any high end shocks at this time. Also anyone know of a good rust penetrator?

I have the SLP Bilsteins and think they are good. Definitely improved the handling and don't break the bank. Cheapest place to get them which someone else on the forum mentioned is the WS6 store.

I second what Bandit said, SLP Bilsteins are great shocks. Although if the Bilsteins are more than what you want to spend, I know Musicman was running KYB GR2s in the rear and he said they were very good for the price. KYB Gas-A-Just is another option.

Also anyone know of a good rust penetrator?[/quote]Hi mate, I actually have a saved writeup on loostening rusty bolts. Anyway the long and short of it is a 50- 50 mix of ATF- Acetone. Automatic trans fluid and accetone. It works well, is cheap, what more could you want.

Sweet. I'll be spraying the bolts the night before just to be safe. I'll look into those slp shock aswell. I'll see if I can get them cheaper then that at my local performance parts dealer. Maybe my connection will pull through on it.

Hi mate, just abit more on the homebrew. LIQUID WRENCH is fantastic! But the homebrew is much better, I will have to post the write up, but the homebrew will take less foot pounds to move once penetrated.
It is the ultimate against competitors! Like to see you try it, then you can spend more on the good stuff like your shockers!!!!
