I found a converter online that allows you change an auto **** to just about any manual ****. I just happened to stumble onto it while looking for a new auto **** as well. In order to shift, you push down on the entire **** instead of pushing in the button. I already ordered my manual ****

Are you gonna share the info with the rest of the class, or keep it a secret?

I'd like to keep it a secret, but if asked nicely, I might consider sharing...

OK...if it's not asking too much of you, could you please post the source of those shift ***** you spoke of earlier?
(in a fairly well-constructed paragraph as well, I may add).
Was that "nicely" enough, dammit anyway?

Well, I guess that was good enough. Here's the site http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/aut...r-adapter.html it's for the adapter ONLY. You have to buy your own ****. I'm not sure exactly how it works from experience, haven't received all my parts yet.

Thanks. They sure don't go into much detail about it do they? I have a rough idea of the concept. I wonder if they leave the **** free-floating so it could just lift right off the shaft, or latch it down somehow?
I guess we'll just have to wait for your fully detailed and highly descriptive project update, including high resolution reference photos.

Lol. I guess I HAVE to take pics and explain all of it, huh? That's ok, I planned on it anyway. But yeah, they didn't go into a lot of detail about it, so I have no clue either. I almost think it might somewhat screw onto the adapter, just like a real manual **** would, but I dunno. I saw online that someone had this awesome red SS that was an auto...but with a custom round red acrylic manual shift ****...I couldn't figure out how that worked. I searched for hours during school instead of doing my work and finally found that adpater. Then the possiblities seemed endless for shift ***** for autos!

well that sounds like fun, let me know how it goes so when my mom goes to work one day she sees a skull, grenade, or 8ball looking at her where her shifter used to be =D
