I have the auto trans in my 94 z28, its always worked fine, But I was driving her yesterday and When I came to an intersection and itwas still in third gear.. Its a dawg when I take off in third, I manually put it in 2nd and it went into second then I put it back into drive and it stayed in third no overdrive?? I don't really know where to start. If the car is cold I and start it and put it in drive it will start off in 1st gear again. Then After it shifts into second It will not go back into 1st.. I think I'm going to get the trans flushed then change the fuild and filter maybe the valvle is sticking or sumthing I need help, I still have some time left this year to beat on my camaro.. THank you

 

just take the beast in. everyone thinks tranny's are a big deal but in ohio you can buy a junk yard one with warrenty for like 3-400 (not to bad) i acctually just swap trannys when something breaks. easier then messing around with the inside of it.

 

Yeah it was the selenoid and ecuif anybody was wondering or is having this problem..
