Default seamfoam question

ok Ii just seafoamed my 95 camaro 3.4 and i poured about 1/3rd of the bottle down the brake booster vacuum hose. and the car started to sound like it was gonna stall and then picked back up so poured a little more, same theing (i had it measured it out in a measuring cup). and then did it the third time sounded like it wanted to die down but this time i had a little bit of white smoke coming from the drivers side of the motor.

then shut the car off as bottle said waited a min and then started it and boy the white smoke that came out.

I was wondering were it almost staled out could be the cause of a bad vacuum hose? or did i do damage to the intake?

It almost stalled out because you were overpowering the air/fuel mix. One method of winterizing an engine like mine for example, is to pour fogging oil down the carb until the engine kills. Then seal it up. You poured too much too fast, but did no harm.

i was just trying to clean the intake out where i had excess blowby gasses but why did my motor start to smoke when it almost stalled out. i wasnt tryin to seal anything just clean it out

stalling was my fault as i didnt know how fast to pour in but got it right on the third half lol

SeaFoam is meant to smoke...at least out the tail pipe. At least you were smart enough to back off when it started stalling out. A lot of people just pour it in till the engine stalls...that's where you problems.

In order of quantity (most % to least), Seafoam engine treatment contains pale oil, naptha, and IPA (no, not India Pale Ale)...isopropyl alcohol.
So by nature, yeah the stuff is gonna smoke when it gets burned inside the engine.

All I needed to know I was hoping I didnt ruin a gasket or had another vacuum leak and the seafoam was spraying out from there

It would not come out from another vacuum leak. vacuum sucks in not out and no i highly doubt you blew any gaskets using seafoam. its most likely a small exhaust leak
