So I did a seafoam treatment on the camaro a couple days ago and after a day I start hearing an engine tick that sounds like it's comming from the valves? Lifters? Or roller rockers? Hard to tell. I didn't put any seafoam in my crank because I got some leaky seals, so I did the gas tank and pvc intake. And as after a day I start hearing this tick and it's getting concerning. I got pacesetter headers so I don't know if the valve is just a lot louder being clean and being more pronounced because I don't have cast iron manifolds? Anyone have this problem before or know any answers to my worries? I did an oil change and put 10w30 but I still hear it.

A gas treatment isn't going to cause valve noise. Since you have headers, I'd look there first and make sure the bolts to the head and collector are good and tight and that there's no black soot marks around the sealing surfaces which would indicate a leak. A leaky header gasket can often fool someone into thinking it's a valve tick.

I checked the header bolts and their all tight, I put soapy water around them and found zero leaks. So it's DEFINITELY coming from inside the valve cover. I listened closely to both sides and they both tick but the passenger side is more pronounced.

But he didn't do a crankcase cleaning. He only seafoamed in the fuel/intake system which can't loosen lifter crud. Your lifter noise may just be a coincidence. Verify oil pressure, and if it's time for an oil change, put in full synthetic oil. Synthetic can help to get rid of built up crud and varnish, and quiet noisy lifters. It's worked with positive results before for me.

Can also be the injectors. They make a pretty good ticking noise that fooled me into thinking it was my lifters when I first got my car. It's possible the cleaning as made the ticking more pronounced to you now

I'm kinda thinking that too it being the injectors are more cleaner and being more pronounced since I did seafoamed the fuel system. And probably cleaned them so well that I can now hear them haha. I did change my oil I'm running 10w30 penny oil platinum full synthetic. I do gotta wire up a oil pressure gauge, just wiring isn't my strong point. When I rev it it does sound like it's an exhaust leak but it's clearly not as I checked. But can the injectors sound like an exhaust leak if they were as clean as they probably are?
