Well the paint job should of cost about $4k but since it was done by a friend that owns a body shop that I allowed him to have the car over the entire winter I got it done for 2K. The car was taken all apart and everything was repainted.
I can tell you this, make sure that the shop knows how to spray satin as all parts and the car need to be shot at the same time as satin is very hard to shoot. Humidity and temp can play a part in the final look and if you shoot parts on different days the look different.

I've got new smoke LED headlights and taillights ordered. Still trying to find a new set of rims for it. Yes the door jams and engine wells are painted.

4K is kinda what I figured. My dad and I are going to sand-off all the current paint ourselves to help save money, and he's got a good friend that does incredible airbrush/paint work, so hopefully ill be able to get a deal. Crossing my fingers that by end of July next year, Ill have enough saved up to be able to start gettin' her stripped and painted!
Thanks much for the info, Ill def. make sure to mention and remember the rules on humidity/ temperature!
Thanks!!
Samantha.
