How much would a simple glossy like Black paint job for an 85 Berlinetta cost?

 

Seriously...49 people looked at this post and no one can tell me how much it cost to get a black paintjob for a camaro...lol c'mon.

 

my car was painted silver with black s/s stripes and they done all the body work ,put the car back together and it cost me 10,000.if you dont care what it looks like take it to econo and let them paint it for about 300.00 or you cold buy the stuff and paint it yourself.it all comes down to what do you want to spend on it.click on the bottom of my screen name at the left side of the page.i got new tires and rims since this picture was taking

 

A simple, cheap one can be as cheap as $250 where I live.

Thanks for the feedback guys...woah $10,000...Thats a real lot...........Well i'm not looking for anything special just black...lol. I dont want to do it myself i'll mess something up. plus I dont have the tools....and the garage.

 

Paint jobs have an array of prices. all dependent upon climate/time of year, materials, type of car, amout of prep neeed, wether or not you want to spray the motor bay/door jams, undercariage, wheel wells as well as any other hard to reach location that woudl require pulling the car apar, and most of all color. All of these things come in to play when an estemete is brough tto gethor for paint.

Cheap way that will look like crap and fall off in 2 weeks, go to macco. You'll spend beans as far as pain jobs go but, your car will look like a trailor park special in about a month.

A good reputible shop that will leave you satisfied for years. probably about 3-4,000, and thats a total guess.

Good paint is not cheap. If you want a good pain job save your pennies and fork ou tthe money for it. Its on of those things that is well worth it to pay a good ***** of change for. Just like motor work.
