Either way you look the trans is going to be replaced. I picked up the trans but I won't be able to get it in until this weekend.

The warranty was only for 12k/1 year and that's long gone. [&o]

the 700R4 is considered the 4l60 right? then came the 4l60E. I think i read that on wikipedia or something so idk how reliable that info is.

The 700R4 has the same internals as a 4L60, they just renamed it in 1993. The 4L60E is an electronically controlled 700R4, thus the "E" on the end.
