Default rim opinions

Ok well as a few of u know I got a 2000 as camaro and I wanted to put some new rims on it I chose the z06 c6 rims after alot of searching. Right now I got the stock as rims. Ok so what I'm asking is if I should get them chrome or black with a red band because alot of people have been giving me different opinions. By the way my camaro is red.

any color but silver band on a non black car =

plus it wouldnt be worth it as the red of the car would detract from it and make it less noticable

i like black wheels with a silver dish/ring, or just chrome, body color wheels are just blechh

black wheels with different colored bands really only look good on black cars with different themes (i.e. black with red theme, black with green theme) and usually this looks ridiculous on white cars

Black wheels are hard to screw up on a car...but it can happen. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the Corvette rims on any car but the Vette.

17's look good but in my opinion 18's look best but only if lowered, otherwise it kind of makes your car look jacked up in the air

Default I have 18's

dude i have 18's inch u can see picture of my car i posted them on a thread of "post pics of ur 4th gen"
and stay with 17' cus when i turn my steering to the full left or right it touches the inner cover inside! idont know what u call it guys ( the plastic cover )
and it make sounds of scratching even the tires are not thick at all so the car is not comfortable on bad roads.
besides there is a problem! that when the road goes up and down the wheel touches the body of the car from the up side so the former owner i guess used an air chock absorber ( so y the **** he used them !!!!! an air chock absorber in Camaro!!!!!!)
stay on 17' ( try to get rims with lips u can put ur hand inside them) it is going to give u good look :-)
i hope i helped u

sounds like you have the wrong backspacing/offset on your front wheels. I run 18's up front w no problem on lowering springs.
