Ride Quality Help
I have a 95 v6 with about 105k on it. Its a summer car, and I'm looking to improve the ride quality. The tires are brand new, but as far as the shocks etc they are more than likely original. I have searched the forums, but I'm not sure where to start as far as daily driver improvements go. I know kyb is good but I'm really a noob with suspension, so any help with a list(shocks, ball joints etc) would be appreciated.
the 4th gen camaro ride is pretty much dictated by the quality of the shocks so go with the best you can afford. bilstein make a good lower cost shock, best are koni. have a look at sam strano's site. if your interested in buying from him give him a call and let him know what you want. he will set you up. very nice guy and really knows his stuff. http://www.stranoparts.com/searchbym...ID=9&ModelID=2
^Yep, this.
V6 springs suck IMHO, I would look into some V8 OEM used springs....
Bilsteins to go with them, then get bigger sway bars -- not so much a ride quality thing, but certainly more fun in the curves. Definitely look into replacing your front lower A-Arm bushings or the whole assembly and get an alignment.
