Default Replacement power steering RESERVOIR hose (v6 2002)?

Where do you find a replacement for the power steering RESERVOIR hose? See part #12 and image below for the hose I'm referring to. This is on a 2002 v6.

I found and purchased the high pressure and return hoses (#7 and #18 on the diagram), but not part #12. Perhaps it's not made anymore? It looks like a pretty basic tube, but is rigid/shaped for the car... Can I just get bulk, unshaped tubing + ring clamps to replace the reservoir hose? If so, would this be the correct tubing to replace it with?

Thank you!
Selena

#12 on this diagram, power steering reservoir hose

thats the return line, not presurized. yes you can use lower grade hose. this should work https://www.ebay.com/p/Power-Steerin...2499084&chn=ps

Thank you! But I have purchased a replacement return hose already. The "return" hose you linked to is #18 on the diagram above, it connects the gear to the reservoir. I'm after #12 on the diagram, the "reservoir" hose that connects the pump to the reservoir. It's the hose right next to the return hose on the reservoir I'm looking for. The factory service manual calls it the "reservoir" hose, and the one in my car is also labeled "reservoir."

The only replacement I've found that seems reasonable is the bulk tubing similar to what I linked to above (although the diameter isn't correct). I couldn't find a rigid, shaped replacement reservoir hose like the original. Think I'll take the one I pulled to the auto parts store and see how it compares to their bulk tubing? Was curious what others have used to replace their reservoir hoses?

Thanks!!

Yeah, I found that one on ebay too. That's where I got the picture in the post at the top! So far it seems my choices are my original hose or the bulk tubing from the auto parts store... I'm not sure if the original was leaking, it might have been but it was hard to tell. I might just put it back in and see how the car does before using the generic, un-shaped tubing.

Bulk tubing will work, it is low pressure as well. The only issue you may run into is it wanting to "pinch" or "flatten" with the bends. They make coils to put in and on the hose to prevent that, but idk if they make them that small. That hose is probably 5/8 ID.

Thanks for this info. Rather than deal with the un-shaped hose, I think I'll try the original hose. I'll replace the spring clamps with new ring clamps and cross my fingers the leak wasn't coming from there (I'm pretty sure the BIG leak was from the high pressure hose, but small leaks might have been from this one...). I'll also look around for the coils you're talking about in case I do need to replace it.

You might also want to check the reservoir tank for leaks. They're known to have cracked and the resulting leak could be running down the return hose.

I'll check it too. If the tank leaks, how is it replaced? Are there aftermarket new ones?
