Default Repainting a CAMARO?

Ok so every day i got something new to say lol ....

Today i went to MAACO just to get a written estimate to see how much will it cost to repaint my camaro...

Do you think this prices sound fair?

249.95 (polish whole car)
1399.95(remove everything from the car like fog lighs, front lights, etc... two tone paint. + clear coat)
325(Rally strippes)(and yes they wrote strippes with 2 P's...)
275(cut and buff extra coat of clear)

i am just doing a research.. So what you think? Prices is good or a ripoff? Total is 2470.53 they said i can get same thing from any body shop for 4000$..

yeah it sounds like a decent paint job, not a cheap one at all.

befor you have it done check 1-2 good body shops for a quote. cause i could get a show car material paint job on my car for 2500 but we know the guy so its probably more. but lik i said look at a few shops and if they quote you a few hundred more look into some of the work they've done it could be worth it. just my $.02

I wouldn't do it until I was absolutely sure that I wasn't changing my hood, or adding side skirts etc. if you're going to paint, then try and do it once. Unless of course you have unlimited cash.
