you will want to finish with a running motor. setting it as massey is sayin is the best way to get the motor running but to get them right its best to set again with the motor running. the book for my 93lt1 says 1 full turn in. that said i have mine set 1/2 turn in from when it stops clicking which is what comp cam calls for with the lifters i am using.

If anyone can answer this quickly, it'd be real nice. For the exhaust manifolds, does any one know which bolts/studs go where? And along with that, does any one know if it matters which plug goes to which injector? Please and thank you!

Not sure about the bolts for the manifolds but yes the injector wires matter. They matter just like the plug wires matter.

Do you happen to know which wires go to which injector?

Unless you cut the harness up in the process of taking it off, they should all be taped up to about the correct length. Should just be a matter of matching the length of wire to the injector it will reach.

depends on what year you have. the early years are batch fire so its not such a big deal. you do need to get them on the right side of the motor.

We've recently gotten everything back together and have had the car running. Now, though, the car sometimes will start fine with no problems and other times you have to basically have the throttle all the way open to get it too start. Any ideas on what could be the cause of this?

93. We are planning on taking it to get scanned by my uncle in the next few days. Right now we are trying to see if resetting the ECM will do anything to help. We can't really think of anything that would make it so the throttle would have to wide open to start.
