Removing fuel rail
I'm in the midst of removing my upper intake plenum for cleaning, gasket, and painting(While im at it ill do the lower manifold as well) Im doing it with the engine inside of the compartment; I've already removed the 7 or so bolts holding the plenum down, removed the TB, removed the electrical connections and removed the EGR flex tube, and removed all of the vaccuum connections. All that's basically left is the fuel rail but dont know where to get started removing it. Im also confused on how to remove the injectors that, from what it looks like, are coming out of the plenum. Thanks for your help.

should pull up. sounds like you have all of it ready, make sure you have the fuel rail bolts out. it takes a bit of pressure to get the injectors out. the rubber o rings stick.

+1^^ there are two bolts holding the fuel rail on the manifold. one on the middle of the intake and one on the drivers side of it holding the the fuel line part of the rail. disconnect the fuel lines too. they get stuck on there pretty good. then do what most men forget to do. PULL OUT!!!
