Recently stolen, nowhere else to turn
In the wee hours (between midnight and 5am) of Wednesday, March 9th my '02 SS was stolen. It was parked on the street in front of our house in Torrance, CA.
All original with 98000 on the odo. Black exterior with a few scratches (one of which from being keyed, ARRRGGGHHH!) with grey cloth interior. It's equipped with 6 speed and Hurst short throw shifter that was offered.
Purchased new in September '01 and driven to San Francisco a year later on our honeymoon in '02. It holds a lot of sentimental value so my missus and I would really love to get her back.
Police report filed with the City of Torrance. VIN# 2G1FP22G722114521

next to losing your best friend or dog, this is the worst!!!! I hope you have comprehensive coverage as you're likely not to see her again. You could always get another, but it'll never replace the memories. I used to ride my bike from santa monica to redondo on the bike path & remember Torrance as I nice place, so sorry.....

Sorry to hear that. Be sure to search craigslist and ebay on a continuous basis for related parts. The car got stolen to either be illegally exported whole, VIN swapped and kept/resold, or to get parted out.

? got insurance you should be able to replace it for close to what you get ,I know my purple one I have had 3 hit an runs an pretty bad wrecks over 8 years now we grow close to our cars right now its my old lady ,I would go out search for it ,on your next one get one of those tracking devices some insurance companys offer ,or you can put one in it too,a chip trackers would have found the car the next day,i also have camrers in my car too that send pictures to my lap top,kit was like $100.00 ,after the hit an runs I desided to go that way ,an put stickers on both corners say under 24hour camera survailence ,nothing since then,1 more thing I do each year is take pictures all the way around to show what shape its in to insurance

its an invasion that's no fun ,let us know how it goes ,one good thing is there was a lot of black ones made I know you owened it from new ,I am getting chip for my 95 ,has gps tracking there cheap like $35.00 they hook up to the battery but they have good ones have a built in battery so if the car battery is unhooked you can still track it ,I am going to put it in tightest spot I can think, that an my wicked loud alarm would scare most off ,I have had few cars stolen but they were not as nice I got them back ,they were joy rideing
