Default ReaR O2 shutoff

Just wondering how to shut off the rear O2 sensor on my 2000 ss... im guessing this will have to be done by the shop that is going to do my tune... im planning on getting the pacesetter lt headers with the catted y pipe, and they say u have to shut it off obviously because of the location after the system is installed.. Sorry if its a dumb question.. Im used to jeeps with big tires.. with one 02 sensor, and lots of dents and dings. Thanks guys

Yes a shop will have to program it out of the computer or you will need to get a simulator to fool the computer. If you live in an emissions area you may have issues passing emission testing with no cat.

you will need to have the rear 02's in place to pass emissions.

I bought my car with no cat and it was constantly throwing a CEL. I found this cheap fix and I havent thrown a code since october. All it does is move the o2 out of the stream of exhaust. I dont know if you could pass emissions with it, but you technically will have a downsteam o2.
