REAR END QUESTION??

Default REAR END QUESTION??

sup guysi am new to the forum but...........i am not new to cars. i am looking at buyin a 99 z28.i test drove it the other day and it sounded like it had a little rear end noiseand i was wondering if any of you guys ever heard anything or are they just like that. and do the driver side window controls have to be replaced after so long.....or do the switches inside go bad? other than these little things it in awesome shape and i am super anxious to tear into a ls1 motor. thanks guys peace out

Window switches I have had problems with ona few occasions. Window motors as well. Not sure about the rearend. Was it a whine? Auto or stick?

its an auto. it had a little bit of a whine to it but it was really bad and there was no grinding or anything like that everything sounded good with the tranny and shifted fine but from about twenty mph and up it had a lil whinein to her. i am new to f-bodys so i am just trying to figure stuff out before i jump into one and have a ton of problems thanks bro. anybody else no anything let me know thanks guys......... oh and i told the dealership to change the oil and the gear oil in the rear end and fix the window switches so hopefully she will be in tip top shop so i can buy it this week. thanks guys
