Yeah, the owner "customized" his car.

Someone filled it in. I like it when they fill it in and put the 1st gen Z/28 badges in the middle.

Oh, and be sure to pop open the (scooped) hood and make sure that SS really is an SS.

is that all some one filled it in ? does that depreshate the value ? on his add it sais it is a lt1 but they discontinued the lt1 and made it a ls1 could this be a typo or was there lt1 engins made in 2000? and for the center mount exhaust how can you tell if that is stock or after market? thanks

I doubt it hurts the value, the rear panel (I have a hard time calling it a Berger since it's not a 1st or 2nd gen car) is an easy to replace part, aside from painting it. No LT1 after 97, 98-up is an LS1. Center exhaust is aftermarket, factory dual was one left one right. Now you really want to look under the hood....twice!

The center mount exhaust isn't stock, but it looks like it's done well. And it's not cheap.

As far as an lt1 in a 2000 ss, idk about that. I'm pretty sure they stopped the lt1 in 97.

Filling in the berger panel (the rear part that says camaro) doesn't really depreciate the value, and if it did you can always pick up a non modified panel at the junk yard.

Do you have more pics of the car?

Edit: 69 comes out of the woodwork sometimes! lol

Really clean looking car. As 69 said, I'd make sure it's a true SS. I think some of the guys here said you can call slp with the vin.

How can you truly tell if it is a true ss without calling in the vin ? would there be door stickers or what could you do to find out if it is a true ss?
