rattling coming from rear
need more info on this one. U dont have struts in the back, but it could be a shock (personally i think i might have some noise coming from mine too due to an oversight during an install......) but the strut and shock are essentially the same, except the struts are up front (but then again... the fbodies might not have struts at all, but coilover shocks up front, i cant remember exactly).
if you definitly hear it behind you it could be the shocks which bolt up on the hump directly behind the rear seats, or it could be something in the hatch. really all im doing is naming the parts that can move, but it could be alot of things....
anecdote time:
when i had my mustang GT i had this phantom rattle for over a year. I finally found found it, it turned out to be a left over bolt that a buddy and I for some reason (we were drinking) decided to put BACK into the car after putting in a set of lower control arms. the bolt was not holding anything in place, just in a hole, so it rattled. the moral of the story is, ud be surprised what you can hear.
for me personally, i tend to hear all sorts of things out of my car. im kind of **** retentive OCD about it. sounds, smells, feelings out of place. i freak out alot. if it is in a place that u can have a buddy sit back there and try to identify at least the location, then go for it. otherwise u may need to just learn to live with it. its an 8 year old american car. its going to have some rattles

This happen to me on both my 94z and now my 02 Z. And it would really mostly happen at acceleration. Each time it was an exhaust pipe that was loose. On my 94 I had a Loudmouth installed and on my 02 I have Lt's and an Xpipe. the Xpipe came a bit loose and was hitting something. They fixed it in like 5mins.
