Yeah.. well.. my thumb print is rare! only two of em ever created!! I WIN!

But seriously if you keep track of how many camaros were painted the same color as your car you have issues.

 

I disagree. I think it is a cool thing to know.

 

Just remember, nothing makes your car more rare than the VIN - it is one of a kind. Or at least, you'd better hope so.

Any rarity to the car due to color will probably not affect value until it is about 20 years old or more. Think about how many 67-'69 Camaros you could find dirt cheap in the late '80s and early '90s.

And a lot will be determined on how the economy is, whether the new Camaro actually comes out or not, if it remains in production, if Barrett Jackson stays in business, and so on.

In the meantime, drive it and enjoy it. If it becomes a collectible, you'll hide it in the garage and only take it out for shows.

 

My color is very very rare. Probally only 80% of every camaro has the same color, it's red.

 

Spartan no two prints are alike not just two peoples. Both of your thumb prints are seperate from each other as well as everyother print in the world, which I guess makes it even rarer.

 

Does that increase my value then!!!>!?!!?!!?!

and even if a color's rarity doesnt add to its value, if i had one of those purple ws6 ta's from 98, i would definately keep it nice and garaged.

if you mean about the pewter thing..
i like pewter f-bodys.. i really like the color.. although there are a whole bunch of them..
my friend has a pewter '00.. damn him.
