Radio Antennae
#2
How far away are your radio stations? You could try unhooking your antenna from the back of the radio and seeing what you pick up. I've forgotten to hook up the antenna after pulling the radio a few times in different vehicles, and I can always pick up the three stations that are nearby.
Relocating would work if you could find a place to put it, or you could probably find a shorter antenna that will screw right in where your old one was.

is it automatic Antenna?
if not just screw it and see what would happen, if u put a small one be careful when u open the rear hatch when u close it not to get smashed under it.
in my car the whole antenna jack is not connected cause it was transferred to European that work to after market HU and I can hear more than 10 stations.

I only listen to one station and its broadcast from the same town im in so i will probably just try to remove it all together and see what happens.
If i decide to keep it out, what can i cover/fill the hole with to make it smooth with the body ?

i play pandora or other music apps through my phone and only listen to one talk show in the morning on my way to work. i would rather just get rid of it.
thank you though. also i couldn't justify spending that much just for a power antennae.
