Default racing with nitrous

own a 2000 v6 3.8 im using nitrous 120 shot on 87 unleaded i was thinking about using like 91 and mixing in alitle 101 in with it or just strait 101 octaine but im not sure if this would be harmful considering the car only wants 87 but im using nitrous can someone help me out here thanks?

with that much nitrous I'm surprised the car doesn't detonate with 87 octane, but I haven't experimented that wuch with nitrous in the LS1 blocks.

They make a N02 fuel from VP Racing Fuels, my friend runs it on his mustang that goes about mid 10's in the 1/4. Plus it doesn't sacrifice any motor performance when your off the bottle. Its pretty spendy but it works.


But in your question I wouldn't see a problem mixing the 100 with the 91, ppl do it all the time.
