Not without knowing what kind of stereo you have. OEM? Aftermarket? Brand? You should be able to look in the manual for the stereo if it is aftermarket (or google it and find it online if you don't), or if it is factory, the owners manual should say how to turn that feature on and off.

You have SCV (speed compensated volume).

Thanks I have the Manual but not with me. I figured it was something easy like that.

My 2000 Monte Carlo had that volume feature, but I liked using it.
Saves from always having to fool with the volume when you speed up or slow down.

Its just not very loud in the car so it seems like its going up and down for nothing. Although it was set to the highest setting so maybe that's why it's bothering me.

Mine had three levels, the highest one was most annoying. I usually kept it at the first setting.

Yeah I turned it down to the lowest setting and it's a lot better.
