Quick question...
In order for me to see if the cigarette lighter is draining my battery I need to disconnect it right?
In order to disconnect it do I just pull the fuse associated with the cigarette lighter or do I have to take the whole thing out of the car?
Same goes for teh radio....just pulling the fuse will work yes? or do I have to take the bezel ring off and then pull it out?
Second question....what is a keyless entry module and where do I find it on my car? My car has a factory alarm.
Thanks for your help!

Yes, just pull the fuse. The moduel is called a BCM... ( Body Control Moduel ) Part# 9353691 is for Camaro/firebirds with keyless entry, Part# 9353681, is for camaro/firebirds without keyless entry. Whether you have power windows and locks or not... It is tucked up under the dsh. On pasenger side, it is NOT held in with any screws, but it is a ***** to get at... Youll jus thave to pull and wedge it untill it comes out... DO NOT pull to hard on it... itll cost you LOTS of money LOL... hope we helped...
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Both of you!
Tonight we pull....the lighter fuse...I think smoking is icky anyway...no offense to anyone who smokes.
Think I'll pull the radio fuse as well. I never turn on the radio anyway....

(LOL) it was for me...MochaCaliGirl. Believe it or not I had lost my password and was posting from my cell phone. Sometime I can be a bit ummm...blonde?
So I did narrow it down to the lighter which EVERYONE I know thinks it is, or the alarm. I cycled down the alarm so that it is still set but without all the bells and whistles and I pulled the fuse on the lighter. I haven't had a problem since.
