Default quick fix please!!!

After driving to work this morning i tried to roll up my windows and they didnt budge. The controls felt warm so pop'd em out and touched the wires and they were so hot they burnt me.
is there anyway quick temporary solution to get them to work. It will probably rain and their all the way down.

The motors on these things are so stiff that it's very hard to pull up the motor. The only way is the get inside the door, loosen up the motor from the door frame and then you can pull the window up, tighten the motor back up to hold it in place. It sounds like it may not be your motor that's the issue though since your switch was warm, that usually means a short circut in the switch. Check you fuse to see if it's good, if it isn't then I would replace your switch and see if that fixes the issue.

My vote is for a bad switch.

check for power to the brown and blue wires to the window motor. your going to have to take the door apart to get to the motors. window info here https://camaroforums.com/forum/lt1-l...25/#post639865
