Default Question About Differential Oil.

When should you change it?
What kind of oil should you use? (What's the best brand?)
Where is it located at to change/drain it?

ive always been told you should change it every 50k miles. also you should use conventional 80-90 1.75qt. does your car have an lsd rear? if so you need to use lsd additive. to drain unbolt the bolts starting at the bottom and moving up equally on either side with a drain pan underneath, get your self a new gasket too. to fill there is a plug somewhere towards the top of the cover, this is also the full line. fill the diff up to the bottom of the hole. you may also want to get a fluid pump (kinda looks like a shampoo pump with a hose on the nozzle)

I was under mine today replacing the rear shocks and was going to check the level but the cover on mine does not have a fill plug anywhere. Is it possibly on the housing itself somewhere?

Fill plug is on passenger side, top of the diff near the yoke. 3/8 ratchet to get it out. Most people will refill till fluid starts to come out of the hole.
