Default Question about the 3.4L

Ok, so the only modifications I've done are a home made CAI and no catalytic converter. Everything else is stock, I think.
The reason I ask this is because of how fast my car goes (relatively speaking). I was racing a 2007 Corrolla Type S and when we stopped the guy said I was doing at least 125 mph. I know that I bury my needle all the time, and the fastest I clocked myself doing was 136 with a GPS locked on to 12 satillites with accuracy of 1 meter (3 ft). Do you guys think that the previous owner did some stuff, or is this normal? Not trying to start a flame war, but I want to know, cause 136 doesnt seem underpowered to me. (note that 136 was absolute top speed. Took me about 1 and a quarter minutes to go from 115 to 136 and then it wouldnt budge. This was on the I-40 coming back from the Mojave National Preserve. On the flat part, not the slope. I was at 6000 RPM).

Yeah I have an A4 and the heads look stock. Matte black valve covers. I even think I may have a gasket leak, seeing as how there is a lot of oil around where the covers meet the heads. So is this normal, or did I get lucky

thats valve cover gaskets. check to see how tight the bolts are that hold them down. do not over tighen. 89 inch lbs. to change valve cover gaskets u will need to remove the fuel rail and upper intake manifold.
