Default question on 00 camaro rear marker

hi i saw some rear side markers i sawonebay i'm interested in
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...:IT&ih=006

my question is , is it easy to install new side markers? is it a simple screw/ unscrew application or is it more complicated than that? do i have to mess with wiring and the bulb, or just screw new marker in? -thanks

first you need to adjust your crankshaft cog defibulator, then rotate your glove box bearings in a noncounter clockwise north to southmovement. After that check your spark plug fluid level to make sure that its not low, cause if it is and you try to replace the lense, your license plate will warp. Trust me on this one, my buddy had a friend who tried this once. Man....we miss him.

Wait, I just checked with Chiltons and all you need to do is reach down in the inside of the car behind the rear wheels. Unscrew the two plastic wingnuts on each lense and they should come right out. Those dont even light up, there more along the lines of a reflector.

the whadda what? crankshaft? defibulator?spark plugs? all that to replace side markers lol. but they actually do light up, the red factory ones light up when the lights are on at night. but there's a tiny screw on the front thought that was it,but there's 2 behind also? how about the bulb and wiring?

Chappie that was pretty damn funny man...

Hey newport, there's one screw holding each one on. Its a star but you can use a allen wrench. Unscrew it, give the light housing on the back of the lense a twist and it will come right out of the lense. Put the light housing in the newlense and screw it back in.. Nothing to it. One bit of advice, when you undo the light housing from the back of the lense, dont drop it through the hole that the wiring is coming up through. Whoever had my car before me did... I had to run a clothes hanger through the hole and pull the wire and light housing back up through the hole... it was a pain. Anyway, you can change those lenses in a couple minutes.. its very simple.

yea i got them ,it was easy as you said just take screws out and they pop out then twist the bulb off, they definitely look cool to me,gives a different look than the red ones, they look awesome, but i thought the front was smoked out,but actually the front is just clear plastic and the background inside is smoke, not really a big deal but still look awesome, since it's clear it lights up white at night.
