Hello members! I just adopted a 95 Z28 with a so called LT1 that has been built to a 383 stroker. my neighbors son brought it from a guy who claimed to be the second owner who brought it from the first owner who claims to have done the engine work. i have a lot of paper work and a window sticker from the dealer. so i purchased this car as is not running and on a trailer, second owner was meticulous on documentation . the car also came with a spare stock 5.7 LT1 with 4L60 transmission attached . My neighbors son just wanted to get what he had invested which was 2k. I gladly cashed him out because its such a bad *** looking car. even on the trailer lol I will try and post pics. A little about me, I was a GM technician from 1981 until 2001 when i decided i was tired of being a car tech mostly warranty drivability NOOO fun. Flat rate pay was good to me i did honest work and got excellent pay. almost coming to a complete end in Aviation worked corporate Jets and Airlines. I have rebuilt and own a Very fast 1990 corvette coup and belong to that forum. I valued the Expertise from those guys!
and friendships. parts connections also important. i am going to put some fresh gas in the car attempt to run it and see what i got stuck with LOL. the guy i purchased it from never did nothing to it or try to fix it he had no time as do most people these days.
