Hell yeah, I'm gonna finish this project this weekend. I've been working extremely hard on this. Just got back from the machine shop to drop off my newly ported intakes (LIM and UIM) to be cleaned, and came home with the last piece of my puzzle

It really looks nice in person, before I put the wiring harness and accessories back on, I just stared at it for a few minutes. Now I won't be ashamed to open my hood anymore, lol

Oh, and leaned some stuff about my old motor. I ran 14.8 with a stock 130,000 mile engine that used a lot of oil. I found the oil. It's been leaking from the oil pan gasket, rear main, but what also was shocking was when I pulled the headers off tonight. They were full of oil and crap. One of the LIM gaskets was about as close to failing as it gets, and the UIM gasket was cracked up pretty bad. In a nutshell, I ran a 14.8 with a very sick engine, haven't even pulled the heads yet to see what's what in there yet. A new stock engine, and I would've seen mid 14's easy. 13's should be no trouble at all.

I'm hoping to run it before the season closes this year, but I've gotta do all the break in junk first before I get to run the snot out of it. If I do get out, it'll be at PIR on a saturday night. The real times to see will be next summer, when I get the spec stage 3 clutch and my nitrous, this winter I'll be pulling the T5 and building it to handle a 120 shot launch, but I can't afford the clutch right now.

What are you referring to?

And thanks for all the compliments guys. List today is as follows:

Buy:
Gallon of degreaser for cross member
ATF for t5 tranny
brake fluid
antifreeze

To do:
Sand and paint headers
Install headers, egr, knock sensors, oil pan
remove old engine form cross member (will be built next for another car)
Pressure wash cross member
Install new engine on cross member, install in camaro, bleed brakes, fill fluids, spin motor with ignition disabled to makes some oil pressure, then hopefully fire it late tonight or tomorrow morning.

Wish me luck, gonna be a long day.
