how much does it cost to get your car reprogrammed at a mechanic? i want to disable the speed limiter on my '94formula.

 

Im not too sure if a mechanic will do that such a thing unless you know them very well, but im pritty sure that if you went to a speed shop they will. the one i go to said that they would get a programmer for my car for $150 or so. i have a 94Z28. and just one question, how fast were you going when your can cut out...cause i haven't hit the top yyet in my car and the highest i have dareed to go on the street was 130. just wanted to know hope this info helps
