Default Problem With LT1

I have bought a 97 TA and have had it for a little over a month now. When I turn the car off it sounds like it wants to crank back up but doesn't. What could be causing it to do this?

If you are talking about what is called desieling, it can be caused by a couple things. Gas not shutting all the way off when the engine is turned off entering the hot cylinders. Carbon build up can also cause it. Timing being off will also cause it but if it is LT1, I think all that is controlled by electronics.
